Shooting at Atlantic Studios
Atlantic Studios officially opened in early 2010. However, various productions have used the place and nearby buildings for filming since 2008.

The first film shot in our studio was the horror/splatter movie Reykjavik Whale Watching Massacre. The story centers around a group of tourists who go whale watching, but after an accident and a rescue they face a horrible ordeal on an old whaling vessel. The whaling vessel’s gruesome interior was built in our studio as well as the interior of several other locations.
